At the start of another school year, we
welcome you to Memorial Presbyterian Church.
If you are exploring churches, now is a great time
to visit us in worship and other activities.
Come as you are to worship Sundays at 10:55 A.M…
…And come to The Fount at 7 P.M. (for worship that is youth
planned and led).
Join us on Wednesdays for LOGOS (faith-building
program for K-5th grade), Youth in
Motion, Dinner (College Students eats free!), and
Choirs.
We are a diverse group of Christians who worship God
and serve God’s people with enthusiasm and
gratitude.
What does it mean to be Presbyterian?
·
We believe
that God creates, redeems and sustains us all and
that God wants each of us to participate in bringing
justice, peace, and love to flower in the world.
·
We believe
that God has been made known through Jesus the
Christ and that God lives among us on the earth
through God’s Holy Spirit.
·
We believe
that God sends everyone to work toward the healing
of the world, so we go from worship to meet God in
our life outside the church doors.
·
We believe
that the Bible is God’s living word to us, our rule
for faith.
·
We welcome
men and women, people of all ages to lead in
worship, mission, and study.
·
We celebrate
the Sacraments of Baptism and Communion. Our
Communion table is open to all who trust in God’s
grace.
·
We balance
church leadership between clergy and laypersons and
elect our leadership.
So, welcome to Memorial Presbyterian Church. We’re
glad you came!
