Located in the chapel inside First Presbyterian Church.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Mission Statement of Memorial Presbyterian Church<\/span><\/h3>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>We are a servant people called to be the light of the world. \u00a0We come together as members of one body to worship, study, fellowship, witness and serve. \u00a0In response to God\u2019s love in Jesus Christ, we promise to care for and support each other as we share God\u2019s love with all people.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">What does it mean to be Presbyterian?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>\u2022 We believe that God creates, redeems and sustains us all and that God wants each of us to participate in bringing justice, peace, and love to flower in the world.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 We believe that God has been made known through Jesus the Christ and that God lives among us on the earth through God\u2019s Holy Spirit<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 We believe that God sends everyone to work toward the healing of the world, so we go from worship to meet God in our life outside the church doors.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 We believe that the Bible is God\u2019s living word to us, our rule for faith.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 We welcome men and women, people of all ages to lead in worship, mission, and study.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 We celebrate the Sacraments of Baptism and Communion. Our Communion table is open to all who trust in God\u2019s grace.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 We balance church leadership between clergy and laypersons and elect our leadership.<\/p>\n<p>So, welcome to Memorial Presbyterian Church.
