On Tuesday, July 23rd Memorial Presbyterian Church will have a “Movie Night” at the Warren Theater. At 7:00 pm, there will a FREE showing of a film called King’s Faith. It is a story of a young man who has lived most of his life on the dark side. After his most recent stint in jail, he lands in his 18th foster home, and is taken in by a couple dealing with their own demons. James McDaniel and Lynn Whitfield play the couple, and Crawford Wilson plays Brendan. This is what is known as a faith based movie, but it delivers a message to a larger audience as well. Critics have written that the movie stands up simply as a good family based movie. We will meet in the lobby of the Warren at 6:50; and after the movie will gather at Freddy’s for ice cream, fellowship and discussion. The film is rated PG 13. If you wish, check the film’s website: www.kingsfaith.com.
